Buffy whines "Wills, I really really wanna go to RIT"
Willow gives her a sympathic look,
"I don't understand why you don't wanna leave Sunnydale,oh wait I get the hellmouth but it's not like you can go this instant." Willow squeaked out
"Yea but Faith...duh she can slay,it's not like she's....uhm uhm she's not that bad....right?"
"Heh Faith's not what you call sane...but have you thought about what Giles would say?" Willow said with sympathy
Buffy thought for a moment
"Buffy???" Willow looks at her with concern
"huh?" Buffy says with a confusion
"what were you saying? Wills, I just zoned out for a second"
Willow gives Buffy a fake smile "nevermind..."
"You sure?" Buffy said looking into Willow's eyes
"Yes siree" Willow said without ethusiam "but how are we gonna hang out with the Scoobies without you?" Will said with pouting
"Ding dong we have email and a phone in the 21st century, im sure we could call and send each other email as well-"
Willow interupted "You should probably go tell Giles your plan, he should know tonight"
"Yea might be a good idea cause it's getting late" Buffy said with a wicked gleam in her eyes
Buffy hums on the way to Giles's apartment,then rapidly knocks on the door.
The door opens slowly and Olivia's face pops out
"Oh hello Buffy, come on in. Rupert should be coming right down." Olivia plastered herself with a fake smile
Buffy heard footsteps decsending down the stairs and she looked up to see Giles with tousled hair and no glasses.
"Oh hello! Buffy I've been meaning to talk to you" Giles said with a smile on his face
Buffy thought with a smile on her face
"So do I,but you go first" Buffy said with a rapid heart beat that she thought was gonna explode
Giles thought
"Why don't you go first? Oh by the way do you want tea?" Giles smiled at Buffy's sudden happiness
"Uhm...this is the kinda of talk we do alone without anybody around, if you don't mind, Olivia" Buffy said with a smirk after seeing Olivia's eyes widen
"Oh I'll be in the bedroom,Rupert let me know if you need anything" Olivia said with a jealous glare
"So what is it that you want to talk to me about? Is there something wrong?" Giles said with concern in his eyes
"Oh no...not that it's just that I'll be leaving Sunnydale to go off to RIT in New York" Buffy said with joy
There was a moment of silence
Giles thought
"EARTH TO GILES??? KNOCK-KNOCK YOU THERE?" Buffy said with a gleam in her eyes
"Y-Y-Yes b-but why are you going to RIT? I mean you cannot leave the Hellmouth into the hands of Faith..." Giles said trailing off his sentence
Buffy sighs "Why not? I mean she's a tough slayer and...she's really not that bad"
Giles frowns "When are you leaving?" A question he dreaded to ask
"In 2 days,so I have time to gather my stuff and head out" She says
"So whatcha ya gotta say?" Buffy said disturbing Giles's thoughts
"Oh about what?" Giles says with confusion
"You said that you wanted to tell me something" Buffy said curiously
"It's not really that important, so-" Giles was cut off by Olivia's voice
"Ripper is she gone?! Cause I'm getting tired waiting for you to come to bed!" Olivia said with a screeching voice
"Uhm I'll be going..."Buffy said with a expression that Giles had not had the foggiest idea what it meant
"Y-Yes I'll be seeing you later now" a stammering Giles said
"Yeppers Talk to ya later!" Buffy said with a strange expression which seemed like she was happier than ever
Buffy thought
2 Days later....at the airport
"aww come on Buff, pretty please don't go" Xander said out of exasperation
"Xander....I told ya, I'll be back during vacations" Buffy sighs
"Hey B! Could'nt go without saying bye," Faith said running over to Buffy
"Well this is Good bye for now" Buffy said while hugging Xander,Willow,Buffy,Oz,Anya,and Faith
Buffy walks inside the plane and waves a last goodbye
The Scoobies watch her until the shadow disapears.
"I'm gonna so miss her....." Willow said with a teary voice
"I know....I wonder what urged her to do a transfer?" Xander said with wonder as they walk back to Oz's van
5 days pass by and in the Giles Residence....
Giles sits on the couch thinking
"Ripper? What's the matter with you? You seem low..." Olivia said with worry
"I have to take off for a while..." Giles says while grabbing his coat
Giles walks through a graveyard and recalls his first time out with Buffy in the graveyard.
Giles flushed at his own choice of clothing, a sweater and tight jeans.
Giles asked curiously "You think that I'm in love with Buffy?"
Spike grinned like a fool "Think? I know it! If you really did'nt love her then you woulda left Sunnyhell. Think of what you're letting go! Go after her you bloody poof! If you don't then you'll lose your chance,why do you think she left in the first place?"
Giles was silent for a minute then said "why?"
"Cause well to quote what Buffy said,Giles is always off with that hussy of his,Olivia. So I'm leaving cause I can't bear what Giles is doing with her" Spike said with a falsetto voice
Spike giggled when he saw Giles look at Spike in disbelief and his mouth gaping open.
"I really should go! As much as I hate saying this, thank you." Giles said as he was running
"Yeah,yeah" Spike had wished he never said that
Finially he arrived at his apartment, only to find Olivia in stripperwear.
"Olivia....I hate to say this but I'm in love with someone else...I also would-"
Olivia slapped him across his face
As Giles finished his sentence as well rubbing his jaw "understand if you slapped me across my face. I'm sorry but I did'nt even realize until just now."
"WHO! Is it Buffy?" Olivia gave him an accusing glare
"....uhm....yes, so may I ask you to l-leave" Giles give a sympathic look to Olivia
"I shoulda known! The way you act around her,I'll never talk to you again!" Olivia said as she was packing her clothing
