"C'mon Giles," Buffy coaxed, "It'll be fun."

"Ugmph." Giles grunted from behind the newspaper draped over his face.

They had finally made it to the beach, after a quick shower and a more modest bathing suit. Although the one she had on intrigued him. Those little ties on her hips...Hmm.

"Gggiiilllleeess." Buffy whined. "Are you going to spend your whole day off buried behind that paper?"

Giles snorted and removed the paper long enough to give her a lecherous grin and retort. "Well, no. I seem to recall buried in you not too long ago." He replaced the paper.

Buffy gasped, then grinned. She plopped down in the sand before him and tugged down the paper. Winsome blue met sparkling green. "Please." She pouted.

His mouth kicking up in a grin, Giles leaned forward to place a nibbling kiss on her pouty lower lip. Settling back, "No." He replied before replacing the paper.

Buffy sighed. She really wanted to go out on a surfboard, but didn't want to go alone. Well, actually she didn't want to surf, more like float and bob up and down. Surfing wasn't something she'd ever had time to learn how to do. She didn't know how to convince Giles he wanted to go with her.

"It's okay Giles." Buffy said in a poor pity me voice. "You don't have to go with me." Giles snorted at the obvious ploy. "Maybe one of those guys would go with."

Giles grinned; he waited to see what Buffy would come up with next. And waited. Frowning, he pulled the paper off his face and looked around. He spotted Buffy talking to the young Adonis who rented out the surfboards. The boy touched Buffys shoulder, talking animatedly. Scowling, Giles threw the paper to the sand and stalked after his lover. If he had only looked back, he would have noticed the weather headlines scream, 'WARNING: Tsunami predicted for California coastline, severity unknown.' But, he didn't.

Buffy nodded at Chip or Chirp or whatever this muscle heads name was keeping an eye out for Giles. Noticing him stalking towards her with a Rippery gleam in his eye, she hid a grin, plastering an interested look on her face.

Giles growled, she seemed fascinated by whatever the little twit was telling her. Giles slid an arm around her waist, pulling her back against him. Buffy bit her lip to keep from laughing out loud. "God, men were so easy."

"Rupert," Buffy turned twinkling eyes to him, " Chirp,"

"Um, it's Chip."

"Uh-huh, well, he was telling me he only has one board left. We could paddle together."

"Well, sir." Chip turned to Giles. "As I was telling your um, daughter."

Giles arm tightened around Buffys waist. "She's not my..."

Buffy trilled a laugh. "Silly Chirp."

"Um, Chip."

"Rupert's not my Father," she shimmied against Giles, "he's my lover."

Chips eyebrows raised, looking at the two of them, "well, whatever. Watch the waves, they're getting high..." He trailed off realizing they weren't paying any attention.

Giles stiffened in surprise behind Buffy. She turned to look at him, "what?"

"Oh, it's," he stammered. "It's the first time you publicly said." He stopped.

Buffy looped her arms around his neck. "What, that I have the sexiest, most handsome, smartest lover in the whole world." Giles blushed and grinned. "And you forgot older."

"Mmm," Buffy purred. "Yeah, older." She grabbed his hand. "C'mon, let's go bob in the water."

Giles followed, completely unaware that he'd been reeled in, hook, line and sinker. He grabbed the board and glowered at Chip.

Buffy and Giles splashed into the water, when they got far enough out they hopped on the board, sitting straddled, facing each other.

"See, isn't this nice?"

Giles had to admit that it was pretty nice, just the two of them, bobbing up and down. They paddled for awhile, lost in the meaningless small talk all lovers share. Buffy decided she wanted to stand to try and stand up. Using Giles shoulder for balance, she shakily stood up. Slowly turning so she faced the right way.

"Whoooeee! Look it me!" She laughed spreading her arms for balance. "I'm hanging...whatever surfers hang!"

Giles grinned at the gently bobbing, tempting fanny, wiggling in front of him. Softly, as not to startle her, he drifted his hands up her thighs and around to her firm behind.

"Giles!" Buffy squeaked. "We're on a surfboard! Behave!"

"Mmm," Giles growled. "I am behaving; I'm not doing what I really want to do."

Buffy swallowed, thinking, what could he really do, after all, they were on a surfboard. She sorely underestimated her Watcher.

"Well," She chirped. "What would you like to do?"

"This." He growled against her rear. His tongue traced a line through her suit, following her body's natural definition. Buffy groaned, muscles tensing in surprise. He traced his tongue around the edges of her bikini bottoms, stabbing at the crotch. His fingers tugged at a set of strings that were tying the bottoms together at her hip.

"Giles." Buffy protested as he pulled free one of the ties. "People can see."

"We're too far from shore."

Buffy looked, he was right. She could barely make out the people on shore. She smiled and relaxed. The tie came undone. His tongue flickered back and forth across her nether lips, not quite slipping between. Buffy groaned and spread her legs further apart, to no avail. Giles wanted to tease. He slowly made another pass grinning at her moan.

His hands gripped her hips and spun her around to face him. He hooked one arm under her knee and lifted her leg over his shoulder.

Buffy yelped, grabbing at him to keep her balance. Before she could catch her breath, his tongue pierced into her hot, wet center.

"Unng." She groaned, flinging her head back. He always managed to take her by surprise. Giles stroked and sucked at her until her legs quivered, he released her, not wanting her to fall. At her growl of frustration, he tugged her down so she straddled his lap. They both pulled down his trunks until his erection sprang free. His hands molded around her hips lifting her up as her hands guided him in. They both groaned as she sank down on him to the hilt. Buffy started to move, but his hands held her still.

"Wait." He grinned. "Let's just bob for awhile."

Buffy laughed and kissed his chin. "All right." She agreed spreading nibbling kisses across his chin and neck. He lifted her chin so he could get a proper kiss. Their kisses were slow and languid as they enjoyed the gentle friction the small waves were producing.

Their kisses grew more and more heated as the waves grew rougher. Giles gripped the board tighter with his legs, crossing his ankles for security.

Before long they were panting as wave after wave carried the board up one crest only to let it plummet. Buffys fingers gripped Giles arms, her head falling back as they rocked from a particularly violent wave. It sent her reeling. Giles hands clamped on her hips as with a hoarse shout; he sent stream after pulsing stream into Buffys welcoming body. Buffy sobbed her release. They collapsed against each other panting.

Buffy started laughing. "We were only supposed to gently bob in the water Giles."

He chuckled. "Don't blame me, I didn't do anything."

They quickly righted themselves as they neared shore. They scrambled off the board and carried it in. Chip ran out to greet them.

"Dude! I can't believe you guys made it through that Tsunami!" He exclaimed.

Giles and Buffy looked at each other. "Tsunami?"

"Yeah! Dude it wasn't that bad but, didn't you notice the waves? They were like, twenty feet high!"

Buffy blushed and Giles roared with laughter. "Dude!" Giles sputtered to Buffy. "That was the most fun in a Tsunami I've ever had!"
