Part 5

Buffy and Giles had just left for patrol when Anya and Xander came. They were greatly surprised to find a very shaky Willow, a very distorted Tara and a very angry Dawn.

"Hey guys, what happened?" Xander asked.

Anya watched them with curiosity.

Willow turned her head to Xander and opened her mouth, but no words could go out. Tara shook her head sadly; as for Dawn, she still looked at Willow with a glacial glare.

"Hmm, guys, if you don't answer we're going to freak a little here." Xander turned to Anya who nodded…especially when Xander whispered a "Come on!"

Willow shook her head and then sat down, murmuring constantly "She hates me! She was fixing the table but it was evident that her mind wasn't there.

Tara patted her lover in comfort.

"Will, nobody hates you," Xander said, when Anya with her natural tact, asked, "Who hates you?"

Dawn explained to them what had happened; they listened to her with some surprise and shock when she finished by "…and there Giles was wow! All SuperGiles! That was so cool," she said in a big grin. "Well," she looked towards Willow, "that depends for who, of course."

"Wait, if I understood correctly," Xander tried to digest all the news, Buffy was in-" He couldn’t finish the statement for now, saying where exactly they might have rescued—or taken—Buffy from to bring her back. Dawn nodded at him, "but," he tried to clarify his mind, "she wasn't-Oh…"

Anya crossed her arms over her chest and said, "Have you told her that I didn’t agree to do that! That you forced me!" She said especially to Willow.

Anya looked at everyone in the room and at all the 'huh' glare, she added, What? Need I remind you that I lost my powers! And even, it's already not easy with a angry slayer, so with a very pissed and powerful watcher…I’ll let you guess the rest!"

Xander took a seat, "Okay, so Buffy wasn't in hell, but in heaven." He thought a moment, "Maybe I'm going to be a little too caveman Xander here," he said looking at everyone, "but Buffy here, Xander happy."

"She hates me," Willow said again with some tears.

"Right, I bet she does!" Anya exploded, "but with what you said, I don't think she's the only one you should fear." She sighed, "Remember…Giles. With what Dawn told us, that sounds not good for us!"

"Honey," Xander said calmly, "I'm sure Giles never-"

"Yeah, right!" Anya snorted, "Not even for Buffy. The love of his life."

"An," Xander began, "okay, for Buffy, but not for that. I mean, they're close, but not like that." At the silence in the room, "Please, tell me that I'm right here," he pleaded.

"In fact," Dawn was all smiles now," I don't know what happened, but from what we saw, they act like they are or will be soon."

"See!" Anya said, "So, before Giles would have done anything for her. Now you can imagine what he could do. And it's not like our two witches could protect us!" She gestured her hand to Tara and Willow. "Right?" she insisted

"Mister Giles," Tara stammered shyly, "is ve-very powerful. I've ne-never felt such powers. And I don't think I," she looked at Willow who nodded her head, "we could do anything against him if-"

"Great," Anya said raising her hand in the air.

"She hates me," Willow sobered.

Anya rolled her eyes, "Could you change your disk, please. Yes, she hates you, and I'm going to tell you that now she's maybe not alone."

Willow raised her head to Anya with sad eyes and then Dawn added, "Anya's right!" Willow turned her head to Dawn who continued, "That's enough Willow. I can't take anymore either! At first, you complained because Buffy didn't thank you." Then, Dawn imitated Willow in an exaggerated voice "I don't understand why Buffy doesn’t thank me? I brought her back! She could at least thank me! She should thank me! She must thank me!" Dawn looked at Willow with an angry glare, "Yes, I wonder why she didn't too!"

That was too much for Willow; Xander, Anya and Tara saw the change in Willow the atmosphere became full and loud. They could feel a strange energy fill the kitchen. Dawn didn't notice it and continued her comments.

"That's enough, Dawn!" Willow screamed, "Stop that!" It was clear that Willow was losing control. Xander, Anya and Tara tried to calm her, but it was too late.

Without warning, all the things in the kitchen were flying in direction of Dawn. She just barely had the time to fall on the floor but not before something hit her. At all the "Willow stop!" screams from everyone in the room, Willow regained her mind.

Xander looked where Dawn was lying, and then he said terrified, "Willow, what have you done?"

At his words, Anya and Tara looked at each other with fear; while Willow said, "Dawn? No…I…I-No!" she screamed.
