Sometime during the night Jessie had kissed Giles softly once more and slipped back into her clothes to hurry back to the main house. She didn't notice her father as he sat in the darkened living room, waiting and watching for her. Jessie fell into a blissful slumber, with a slight smile on her face.

Making love with Rupert had been better then she had ever imagined it would be.

The next morning Jessie was up early as usual, with the sun. She took a shower and left her hair down this time. She dressed in a long denim skirt for riding, and a cute little red top. Her brown leather boots completed the ensemble.

She whistled as she made a picnic breakfast. Fruit, muffins, juice and coffee. She thought Rupert would probably want tea too, so she also made a thermos of that. She was excited to go riding with him, and hopefully spend the day together and get to know more about each other. And also...if the truth were to be told, she was hoping for more kisses, and maybe even more.

Giles woke and stretched, feeling the slightly sore muscles. This caused a smile. The previous night had been almost magical. The connection he felt with Jessie had been there from the moment he first saw her. Making love had only seemed natural.

Opening his eyes, he hoped to see her. Though, he knew she had gone back to the main house. She hadn't wanted to worry her father by staying out all night.

He glanced at his watch. It was still early. He took a leisurely shower before dressing and heading down to the barn.

Jessie fixed the breakfast basket and then grabbed her hat before hurrying outside to the barn. She grinned when she saw Romulus and Nero. She put down the basket and hopped up onto the stall door, giving the horses kisses on their noses. "Hi guys. Did you have a good night? I had a wonderful night!" She laughed and hopped back down to find the saddle bags to pack the breakfast for them. She wanted to bring a blanket too. She was humming softly as she prepared the supplies.

Giles watched from a distance as Jessie greeted the horses and began packing the saddlebags. Quietly, he strolled up to the barn. As she secured the last of their supplies, he walked up behind her and hugged her from behind. "Good morning, Love." He kissed a spot behind her ear.

Jessie smiled. Her body flushed with heat when he called her 'love.' Slowly she turned around and smiled at him before hugging him close and kissing his cheek. "It's the best morning ever, Rupert."

He smiled down at her. "Yes. I believe it is." He pulled away from her to greet the horses. He glanced at Jessie out of the corner of his eye. "Did you sleep well last night?"

Jessie nodded. "Yes, I did. I'm a bit sore this morning though." She blushed and smiled again. "In a good way, of course." She blushed and turned back to the saddle bags. She got out a handful of carrots and passed them to Giles. "Here, Nero likes these."

Giles took the carrots from Jessie and gave one to Nero. He was watching Nero as he asked, "Do you believe in love at first sight?"

Jessie had been watching Nero with Giles and her head came up in sudden surprise at his question. She took a step closer to him, swallowed the emotional lump in her throat, and then moved her hand to gently cup his face and turn his gaze to hers. "I do now," she whispered.

"So do I," he whispered as he leaned closer to her and brushed his lips lightly across hers. "I've never felt such an instant connection with anyone." He pulled her close and kissed her again, harder this time. He heard Jessie moan in response. His mind raced with all the things he wanted to do with her. Thoughts of what they could do in the barn alone made him hard.

Jessie held him close. She could feel him hard against her. She had to smile and pull back from the kiss for a moment. She nuzzled his neck. "You know that, now that you've shown me about love, and...well, I'm going to want to do it with you all the time now."

Jessie blushed and just hugged him hard, feeling him against her. It felt good. It felt right. She'd waited so long, but now she was glad she'd waited...waited for him. And he loved her!

"Are you sure?" Jessie whispered in his ear. "I'm not...very worldly, Rupert. I'm not educated, I've hardly ever been off the ranch. And you're so...much more experienced. I want you to teach me though. I want you to teach me everything." At that, she pressed herself tighter against him.

"I'll teach you anything you want," he said, his voice low and husky. He ran his hands down her back and cupped her ass. "I could teach you the benefits of wearing skirts." He kissed he neck, biting lightly below her ear. "Especially if you wear nothing under them," he whispered.

Jessie giggled. "I'll remember that for the next time. I'm afraid on a horse that would have been a bit...chaffing." Jessie moved her hands to his shirt, undoing the first few buttons so she could run her fingers inside. "God I love your chest hair." She bent her head to kiss the hollow in his neck.

"We'll never make it to our picnic if you keep that up," he warned but made no move to stop her. She seemed to be in no hurry. As she continued to kiss his neck, he slipped a leg between hers and rubbed it against her. "I want you. Right here, right now." He pushed againt her, letting her feel the effect she had on him.

"Oh God," Jessie moaned again. Was it always going to be like this? She certainly hoped so! She undid all of his buttons and moved her mouth to one of his nipples. It was hard and tight against her tongue. His hips thrust against her again as she sucked and licked at his chest.

"I'm hungry, but the picnic can wait," she drawled in a husky voice. One hand around his waist to move down his ass and in between his legs.

Giles growled when he felt her tongue graze his nipple. Did she know the effect that had on him? He pulled her up and ran his hands over her breasts. As he started to lean down to nuzzle her neck, he lost his balance. For a moment he was confused. Then he realized Nero had nudged them with his nose.

Jessie clung to him as he struggled to stay standing. She had to laugh when she saw it was Nero. "You feeling left out, Ne? Or do you want more carrots?" Jessie gave Rupert a sparkling smile as he leaned against the fence to hold her up. She slowly slid down his body, making sure he felt all of her, just as she felt all of him. The heat in his eyes made her almost quiver with anticipation.

Suddenly a tall shadow loomed in the doorway of the barn.

Giles felt the presence before he saw the figure in the doorway. "Jessie," he said, a hint of warning in his tone. He pulled her to her feet as his eyes darted to the doorway.

Jessie looked up at Rupert's face and suddenly figured it out. She hastily took a step backwards, glancing down at herself. Mostly she looked okay, but Rupert's shirt was totally unbuttoned, and he still had...her eyes grew. Oh my!

"I thought you two were going riding," Jake said gruffly. He glared at Giles, noticing his state of undress.

Giles suddenly felt sixteen again. He remembered being caught in the act by the father of a girl he was secretly seeing. He didn't know what to say then, and he didn't know what to say now.

He prayed that Jessie knew how to diffuse the situation.

Jessie looked at Giles, and then her father. Jake crossed his arms over his chest and just glared. "God, this is ridiculous," Jessie finally said. She took a step towards Rupert and took his hand. "I'm not a child father. I'm 30 years old."

"This is my house, my barn, my property. While you're living here, you'll do as I say." Jake glared back.

Jessie didn't give in. She squeezed Rupert's hand. "We're going riding now." She gave Giles a little smile and a shrug and went over to saddle the horses.

"I don't want to come between you and your father," Giles whispered to Jessie. He bent to pick up the carrots that had fallen to the ground as he waited for a response. When she didn't respond right away, he busied himself by feeding the carrots to the horses. All the while, he could feel Jake's eyes on him.

Jessie slumped for a moment against Nero. Then she opened the stall and led him out. She saddled Nero and then brought out Romulus and did the same.

After several long moment she looked at her father. "Please, pa, I love him. Can't we just...talk about this later? Please?"

Jake snorted. "Love him? You just met?!"

Jessie studied her father. "Please..."

Jake sighed gruffly. He tilted his hat back on his head. He looked at Giles once again. "We will talk later." Then he spun on his heels and left the barn.
