"She needs a watcher?" Gunn asked Angel trying to figure out what a vampire needs with a watcher.
"That is what she said." Angel confirmed sitting at his desk. Angel had went into his office and made a call and when he was finished everyone stormed his office wondering what was happening.
"Well, perhaps I can help. I was after all a watcher." Wesley chimed in.
"Oh please, you have got to be kidding me Wesley. No offense, but you did not succeed to well as one, which is why you are not a watcher now and Faith is behind bars." Cordelia pointed out, without much tact, "Perhaps Buffy and Giles could help."
"I tried calling everyone in Sunnydale, but I cannot reach anyone. I have no idea where they are." Angel explained.
"And this is why I insist on everyone carrying cell phones. It is times like this when we need to reach each other.." Cordelia, grinned sarcastically at Angel, who always forgets about his phone.
"Angel, do I have to point out that I am in charge here, and that you should have told me, what Pandora told you before rushing off to contact anyone."
Gunn and Cordelia looked at each other and rolled their eyes.
"I saw that you two!" Wesley snapped annoyed with his staff, Angel just sat there looking at Wesley wondering what to say or not to say, "Fine Angel, so what you made a few calls, do you have any ideas what should be done next?"
Angel just shrugged his shoulders, "I am not sure if we should move Pandora just yet or to just leave tonight for Sunnydale and set up in my old mansion. Any ideas? I had hoped to reach Buffy before we arrived and let her know what was going on and that we are on our way. As I see it, we should go to them and not them to here."
"You mean actually leave Los Angeles and at least be in the same dimension, not some back ass backward demon land, hey I am all for that." Gunn said, wondering what it would be like hanging with the scoobies he had heard so much about.
"As long as Buffy and Angel aren't trying to kill each other, sure I say lets go to Sunnydale. Wesley, when do you think we should leave?" Cordelia asked, hoping Wesley felt like he was still running things.
"We should leave tonight and see if we can find Giles and contact the council to learn more of who Pandora is." Wesley decided.
"Pandora, is someone who let me live a long long time ago. She gave me a chance, and I owe her one too." Angel said and everyone in the room just stared at him, wondering what Angel meant by that.
Giles called an early morning meeting just before dawn at the magic shop. Buffy and Dawn were the first to show up, Willow and Tara showed up shortly after they did.
"So what's up with this early morning meeting Buffy? Anything to do with the Earthquake?" Willow asked, wondering why Giles insisted everyone to show up.
Giles stepped into the room, "Once everyone is here we can discuss it."
With that Xander and Anya came in, "You won't believe this, Xander was on top of me and the things started rocking and rolling, I thought WOW, Xander you rock my world, and then I find out it is just an earthquake."
Xander blushed in embarrassment, while Tara and Dawn giggled. Willow just rolled her eyes and Buffy covered her mouth to hide her smile.
'Well we are all here can we start the meeting now?" Willow asked impatiently.
"There is still someone missing. Let's just wait to see...."Giles was cut off by the magic shop door flying open.
"Does anyone understand, that I am a vampire and we do NOT want to out at this bloody time of the day?" Spike grumbled throwing the steaming blanket off of his back, "Do you not see the sun peeking out?"
"I love sunrises." Dawn said giggling at the annoyed Spike.
"Now we may proceed. Buffy care to share what you have in mind to do today?" Giles said trying not to laugh at Spike's entrance.
"Well here is the plan....." Buffy went on to explain what she wanted done.
Cordelia and Gunn left to prepare to leave that evening, while Wesley and Angel sat down to talk.
"Did you find anything out to help Pandora, recover?" Angel asked anxiously.
"She needs to feed Angel, but I do not want to kill anyone to save her life." Wesley explained.
"Nor do I and if I know her well enough from the brief moments I have seen her and from the Vampire Lore, nor would she kill someone to feed off of them." Angel agreed with Wesley, "Is there any other way?"
"Perhaps, there is but I am not sure if you or she will want to do it. Pandora I thought was just a myth, but if any of the myth is true, she will not let anyone drink from her. I have no idea why or much else about her, except she is a very old vampire whom, other vampires feared. This is what you would have to do Angel to hopefully restore her and keep you alive as well...." Wesley explained in detail an old vampire ceremony.
"Well, it is worth a shot." Angel said as he went to the kitchen to prepare.
Angel went upstairs to his room where Pandora laid and sat on the bed next to her. He drank down a cup of blood and slashed his wrist offering it to her. Pandora looked at his wrist and her face vamped out and she drank from him. Angel reached up for a bag of blood to drink so he would not be drained, when Pandora lift her wrist to him to drink. Angel was afraid to and held back.
"No, I cannot do that to you Pandora." Angel said hoping she knew he expected nothing from her in return.
She lifted her mouth from his wrist,"No Angelus, drink it is for you."
Angel was shocked that she knew his name and cautiously bite her wrist. As he drank from her, he felt a blazing fire go through his body. It did not burn with pain, he had never felt this sensation ever. He never wanted it to stop.
Sunnydale High was still a mess of rubble, waiting to be restored. The moon still full pierced through holes in the old library, where Giles, Buffy and the rest of the scoobies cautiously walked though, looking for any trouble. They had spent most of the day searching the area for clues, while Spike tried to hide out inside avoiding any sun contact. There was nothing. They found no sign of anyone and were determined to stay there the whole night to see if anything would happen.
Giles wanted Buffy to let go of her fear and let everyone go home and rest, But Buffy had gotten everyone all anxious, well everyone but Spike, who tended to agree with Giles.
When Buffy noticed it was 4 am and everyone was tired and cranky, she decided that perhaps it was best just to go home and sleep. Spike managed to hurry back to his crypt in time before the sun rose.
Buffy and Dawn made it home, to find their answering machine blinking.
"I wonder who called?" Dawn asked.
Buffy went over to the machine and pressed Play new messages, "Buffy are you there pick up, It's... me... Angel...um well... it's urgent please call me."
There were at least ten messages from Angel all saying it was urgent and that she needed to call.
Buffy grew nervous, and wondered what was bothering him. She slowly picked up the phone and dialed his number.
