Title: One Night, Nine Months, & Two Years 6/?

Feedback: there are worse things in life then flames, and not many better things than praise, but I'll settle for professional criticism.
Disclaimer: all characters, except the few I will make up as the story progresses, belong to UPN, The WB, Mutant Enemy, and of course Joss Whedon, not to mention the countless others that I don't know or have never heard of. The only thing I know for sure is that the shows (BtVS & AtS) aren't mine and I have no control over what the characters do, no matter how hard I wish, pray, and dream!
Willow returned home that evening before Tara or Dawn. They both stayed to help Anya close up the Magick Box, because Giles left early that afternoon, claiming sickness. It dawned on Willow that Buffy had been sick a lot lately and thought that Giles probably caught whatever it was she had. She walked up stairs to her room, wondering where Buffy was; it was too quiet for her to be home. Just as Willow was about to shut her and Tara’s bedroom door she heard as whimper followed by a gasp. She looked toward the bathroom, Willow was sure it came from there. Setting down her shoulder bag, she walked over and knocked on the door, "Buffy? Is that you?" She waited not hearing anything but a sniff, Willow asked again, "Buffy, are you okay?" she was worried she could not understand why Buffy would be crying alone at home, she was stronger than that. Maybe it was the Heaven thing again. Willow immediately felt guilt rush over her. "Buffy can I come in?" she heard movement and then the door opened. Buffy stood there her eyes swollen, puffy, and red rimmed, she released a ragged breath then through her arms around her best friend and the tears she thought had ran out began flowing again. "Shhh it’s alright, whatever it is I will help you through it. Okay?" Willow said returning the hug and pulling back to look at the distraught face of her friend. "Come with me, let’s get you something to drink and we’ll talk." Noticing Willow’s infamous ‘resolve face’ Buffy nodded and walked, using Willow for support, down the stairs to the kitchen. "Sit here, I’ll get us some water, would you like anything else?" Willow said worry clearly read on her face. Buffy managed a to shake her head ‘no’. Getting two cups and filling them with water, Willow placed one in front of Buffy and sat down holding the other one. "Anytime your ready I will be right here, okay. We can sit her as long as you need." Willow said taking an unneeded sip of her water, she wasn’t the slightest bit thirsty, and she was worried beyond belief. Willow sat her cup down on the table and leaned on her elbows, she clasped her hands together and rested her chin on top of them. She looks at Buffy with concern among other feelings.
It was a couple of minutes before Buffy spoke, "I…um…Willow?" Buffy trembled and reached for her. Willow quickly slid off her chair and knelt in front of Buffy and encircled her shacking body. Buffy began sobbing tearlessly into the Witch’s shoulder; there were no more tears. Willow didn’t know what to do, what could have happened? "Willow, I have something to tell you." Buffy said amazingly clear as she let go of her best friend. Willow stood up and moved her chair closer to Buffy. "Alright, I’m listening," she said sitting down. "I…I warn you it is going to be shocking," Buffy said with a slight quiver. Willow nodded and reached out to hold her hand as Buffy struggled to get her emotions under control. "Uh, um…remember a few weeks ago, when I didn’t come home because I drank too much," Buffy paused and Willow nodded her head again. "Well, I spent the night with a man, I don’t remember anything that happened, and he said he didn’t either, but we had had sex." Buffy said looking down at their hands on the table. "Oh, Buffy…I’m sorry…I should have made sure you got home myself." Willow stopped as she saw Buffy raise her and to stop the apology. "That’s not all, I haven’t been feeling good since, and today I…I got a First Response Pregnancy Test…" Buffy glanced up at Willow’s face what she saw gave her comfort—unconditional love. "It was positive, I’m pregnant."
