Wesley had been sleeping when the knock came at his door. He'd gotten up dressed only in his sweatpants and opened the door wondering who it was. He felt his jaw drop when he saw the two standing on his doorstep.

"Come in," he said once his brain caught up with his eyes. He gestured Buffy and Dawn inside and went into his bedroom to get dressed. He appeared a few moments later in jeans and a dark blue t-shirt. His sneakers were on the floor by the coffee table.

"What brings you here?" he asked the two young ladies as they sat down.

"Buffy needed a break from Sunnydale," Dawn said. "Did Giles call about what happened?"

"Yes, he did. So, Buffy, what would you like to do today?"

Buffy looked at Wesley sadly.

"I'd like to be with Angel but the clause---"

"Is no longer there," Wesley said. She looked at him in shock and he smiled at her. "I found a way to anchor his soul, Buffy" Wesley said softly to her. "Just last week. I hadn't had time to call you yet. You can be with Angel and be as happy as you want. We can go over there right now as a matter of fact."

"We can?" Buffy asked. Wesley smiled gently and nodded.

"We can. Would you like too?"

"Oh, but Dawn wanted to visit with you for awhile---"

"How about this Buffy. We'll go meet up with Angel and perhaps we can all go someplace this evening where Dawn and I can visit and you and Angel can have alone time. Alright?"

"Yeah Wes, thanks," Buffy said hugging him. Wesley smiled as he retuned the hug.

"Come on then, you can help me load this stuff into Angel's car. I have to be in the same building as he is."

"Why?" Buffy asked. Wesley sighed as they got in the car.

"Because Angel's soul is bound by mine. We need to be as close as possible without being in each other's space. So far we've gotten up to 100 feet away."

"You did this for Angel? I mean, you just sacrificed your life and freedom---" Buffy began.

"And if I am worthy of the title good guy, I would do everything I could to help those I care for. Angel was unhappy and you were unhappy and you needed to be together so I made it possible. That's all. So, here we are. The Hyperion."

"Wow," Buffy said as she and Dawn helped Wesley unload the car. They walked in to find Angel and Spike sitting on the couch talking. Angel was up and over to her in a second, wrapping her in his arms and spinning them both around.

"You told her then, Watcher?" Spike asked Wesley. Wes nodded and Spike smiled. If anyone deserved happiness it was his sire.

What shall we do tonight?" Angel asked as he looked at his family. Dawn looked at Spike and Buffy and turned on her Puppy Dog eyes.

"Can we go to Disneyland?" she asked. Angel looked at Wesley who shrugged. He had no objections and he could be away from Angel for about three hours when not sleeping so it would give Buffy and Angel some alone time. Spike snickered and watched as Angel went to the phone and made some arrangements. Dawn listened and her jaw dropped. Angel was setting up a private party in Disneyland for them? Wow!"

"Peaches is loaded, Bit," he told her. Dawn just stared.

Later that night, Dawn was grinning as they walked through the park. Angel really was loaded all right. Dawn was walking between Wes and Spike while Buffy and Angel went roller coastering. Angel, it seemed, loved those things. Next to her, Wes was laughing as Spike ran for Mr. Toads Wild Ride. He shrugged at Dawn and the two of them joined him on it. They went to the Tea Cup ride after that and Wes laughed as Spike jumped from teacup to teacup and Dawn and Wes were in hysterics by the end of it.

They went on carousels around the park and Dawn could see Wes really loved those.

The night ended with Buffy and Angel kissing and Dawn asking if they could come back to Sunnydale with her, Buffy and Spike because they didn't think they were ready to deal with Xander, Willow and Anya.

"Of course we will," Angel said as he and Wes packed some clothes. They would send for the rest if they needed to. At 2:00 AM they were on their way back to Sunnydale. Buffy ahd called Giles and he was waiting up for them. Wes and Angel would spend the day with him. That was what would have to be done once he was appraised of the bond between their souls. He was working on ways to give them more distance as soon as Buffy hung up, she knew. That was her Giles. Always caring for her family. Extended, adopted or otherwise.
