The next afternoon, while everyone was sitting around on the school grounds, Jean was staring at Ethan Rayne with hatred. She HATED that man. He and Mr. Giles had proved her wrong and called her a liar. She couldn't abide that. She could not abide being wrong. Scott, standing next to her, was waiting for her signal. They were going to get Mr. Rayne. He was the Chaos of Chaos Lord from what she understood. Without him, Giles would not be able to do anything to her. Or so she theorized. She looked at Scott, giving him the signal and he opened his visor, shooting at Wesley. Ethan responded just as Jean thought he would, leaving his back open to attack. He caught him with a telekinetic blast sending him flying up and into the woods on the school grounds. Ethan cursed his stupidity for turning his back on her as he saw himself heading down and slamming into a stone, coffin like thing. Only, it didn't hurt when he hit it. Instead, a light poured from it and Ethan stared in shock as memories began to cascade through his head.
/RIPPER! / He called mentally as he felt himself being overwhelmed by the images slamming him again and again. He was getting lost in them when he felt it. Ripper's touch to his mind. He was so confused as he felt someone now standing next to him helping him to his feet.
"Ethan?" a voice he knew but did not know asked. Ethan looked up at a blond man. Tall, muscular, blue eyed and wearing leathers.
"Ethan, my Gods, it is you. How long has it been?"
"Uncle Hercules?" Ethan asked wearily. He didn't know how he knew but this was his Uncle. They both jumped with Hercules placing Ethan behind him as Jean landed suddenly next to where Ethan had hit. It was not Giles who came after though, rather it was Wesley. Giles followed running to Ethan.
"Are you all right?" Giles asked as Ethan hugged him. He checked Ethan over and was relieved there was no injury.
"I'm fine Ripper. What happened to Miss Grey?"
"She came after me as well. Wesley was glowing and she just flew. He didn't even look at her but it had to have been him. There was no one else."
"Oh," Ethan said in answer. Everyone looked up as a moment later, Spike flew, literally flew, to where they were and the throne made of black obsidian. He looked at it for a moment and then calmly sat on it. There was a glow suddenly from the throne that encased Spike. And when it was finished, Spike sat on the throne still Spike but now with more knowledge in his mind.
"Find the Children of Olympus," Spike said. "They can show the way home."
Then he shook it off and stood. He had found the Throne of the Vampire King. Now he had to prepare a circle. Willow and Tara appeared next and set to work immediately. They would prepare the sacred Space for Spike and his children. It would be made, as Spike needed it to be made.
Wesley stood looking around the clearing as the Scooby gang got to work on the clearing. He knelt to help his fathers, as he had understood the Chaos Lord was his maker. They made him the first time they had merged power. He was their son. And they loved him. He looked around at the group who were his family. That group now included the blond man with Ethan and he smiled. He had found his Family. Now he had to find his Place.
