A/N: Okay we are coming down to the last little bit of Luv in a chatroom. I really hate to see this one end, but like all good things they do.

When Buffy woke up on Saturday morning, she was excited. Today was the day she was going to meet her mystery man. They have been talking about the meeting over the last few days. She was ready, but she was also scared, there were a lot of questions going through her mind. Will he show? Is he a dirty old man? A convicted felon? A demon posing as a person to take me out? Oh well, she is the ex- slayer and very well trained to handle herself. Giles taught her well, no wonder she is the longest living slayer on record. Thinking about him she picked up the phone to give him a call.

Giles was already up and ready to start his day. Like Buffy he too is nervous about his meeting tonight. He had questions going through his mind also. What if she is under aged? What if she runs away in disgust? What if she is unattractive or maybe a beauty like Buffy? What would Buffy say if she found out? What would Buffy say if she found out? Her opinion always mattered to him, even if he didn't tell her. He thought about visiting her while he was there. Dawn is here visiting Willow, so she must be kind of lonely. He was brought out of his thoughts when the phone rung. (We know who it is)

Giles speaking, a smile grazed his face it was Buffy.

Giles: Hello Buffy, to what do I owe this call?

Buffy: Hello to you to Giles, Do I need a reason to call?

Giles: you know you don't. It's weird because I was just thinking about you.

Buffy smiled, Giles was thinking about me!!! Me Buffy his slayer well ex-slayer.

Buffy: Really? Is there an apocalypse brewing? Do I have to come out of retirement? , she deadpanned.

Giles let out a laugh. He missed her sense of sarcasm; actually he just missed Buffy all together.

Giles: No, I wanted to come by for a visit this afternoon. I have an engagement in Rome tonight.

Buffy was giddy for a minute, then it dawned on her. An engagement, what kind of engagement? Is it for work, or maybe he met someone? Thinking that made her livid, Giles was hers.

Buffy: That would be good. What time are you stopping by? I have a date tonight; you know how I need time to get ready.

Giles was put off by this a little. Buffy on a date, well she is young, and attractive, and so full of life. 'Why couldn't she just see me?' he thought.

Giles: Sometime this afternoon, if you're not busy.

Buffy: I am not busy at all, just a lazy Saturday at home. What time should I expect you?

Giles: Around 2, I have some affairs to attend here. Then I will be there to visit and spend some quality time with you.

Buffy: Great! I will see you then bye.

She quickly hung up the phone. Giles is coming here to visit me, before his quote unquote engagement. She had to get the house in order and make sure she looked very attractive.

Giles stared at the phone for a minute. That was strange; she just hung up he thought. He put the phone down; going to see Buffy would make it tough to go out on his date tonight. Then again Buffy had a date; there is really no difference there. He got up and went to his living room to the computer. Hoping she would be online.

In her apartment Buffy was in deep thought. Giles is coming to visit, because he has business to take care of here tonight. Do I not mean anything to him? She asked no one in particular. She left the kitchen, and went back to her room to the computer. Hopefully her mystery man was online to her luck he was.

Buffy saw that her friend is online she sent him an IM

SexKitten69: Why are you on so early?

TenderlyRipped: Hello kitten, I just got off the phone with a friend. Why are you on so early?

SexKitten69: That is so weird; I just got off the phone also.

TenderlyRipped: What did you do last night I missed you?

SexKitten69: Nothing really, just worked and took my sister to the airport. I missed you last night too.

TenderlyRipped: So where did your sister go? You told me she was going away for a week.

SexKitten69: She is visiting with my best friend in England. I was supposed to go, but work and all.

Giles paled for a minute, her little sister is in England visiting with a friend. Dawn is here visiting with Willow. Buffy was supposed to come, but she had to work. He put two and two together, Oh my god it's Buffy!!! He should have figured it out; she was dropping hints left and right. He smiled; she has no clue who he is. This could be used to his advantage.

TenderlyRipped: England huh? Was she excited about going?

SexKitten69: Yeah, she hasn't seen Willow< that's my best friend I told you about> in a while. Me personally I saw her last week.

Giles smiled, she never referred to Willow by her name, always by her best friend. This is Buffy. He couldn't wait to find out how she felt about him.

TenderlyRipped: Didn't you say your special colleague lives in England?

SexKitten69: yeah he does, but he is coming for a visit today. I haven't seen him in like a month.

TenderlyRipped: Really? The way you talked about him made you two seem unseperatable. What is he like? If you don't mind me asking, I need to know what kind of competition I'm up against.

Giles knew it was wrong, but he needed to know exactly how she felt. Did she feel the same way he did about her? It was driving him insane.

Buffy grew kind of suspicious. Why does he want to know about my special friend, she thought. He did say he wanted to know what his competition was like. There was nothing wrong with that.

SexKitten69: Well, he is quite older than me; he's very distinguished, handsome, and very in shape. I am in love with him, but he sees me as a daughter. I wish he could see me as more than that, but a woman.

TenderlyRipped: sounds like you are devoted. Could you find room for me?

Sexkitten69: yeah, but I have got to move on though. I need to get on with my life.

Giles was grinning like a Cheshire cat. Buffy was in love with him, he has been in love with her since she walked through those library doors. He wanted to shout from the rooftops and do a jig. He looked at the clock and already saw it was 12:30 he had to get ready to go.

TenderlyRipped: Sorry to cut this short, but I have another engagement. So I will see you tonight?

SexKitten69: tonight it is then.

Buffy looked up at her clock and saw it was 12:35; she needed to shower before Giles got here. She smiled again; Giles is coming here to see me she thought. I can't wait, she yelled out to the room.
