Previously on TWYLM: Hank and Rupert have dinner with Buffy and her daughter. Rupert and Buffy hit it off famously, but Hanks not happy.

Hank walked into his office the next day livid. Dinner at Buffy's was great, but that bastard Rupert kept flirting with his daughter. To him that was unacceptable, he wanted to have his daughter solely dependent on him. She was successful enough with running her mother's gallery, and inherited a large sum of money from Angel's insurance. He wanted to be the only man in her life. That is one of the reasons why he had Angel killed. Of course Buffy didn't know he was behind the car accident. She and DeAnyale mean everything to him, and there was no way he was going to let anyone take his place.
He sat down at his desk and buzzed Rupert's secretary, "Please send Rupert Giles to my office." He had a smirk on his face. There was a knock at his door,
"Come in"
Rupert Giles was on a high, the previous night at Buffy's house couldn't have gone better. They had a delightful meal and he got a chance to know Buffy and her daughter better. Infact when it was time for Danni to go to bed, she requested that he read her a story. She usually asked Hank to read to her. That made him feel that she pretty much liked him. Even though he didn't mean to he was flirting with Buffy the whole time. He couldn't help it that woman did something to him. Inside he felt incredibly wonderful, something he hasn't felt in a long time.
Now he was being called into Hanks office which to him seemed a little abnormal. Then again it could be about something important. He opened the door once he heard Hank 'Say come in.' He walked in and stood in front of Hanks desk as if he was a soldier on duty.
