"Now my dear, you will discover the true art of what we call music."
Giles slipped the needle onto the vinyal and a few seconds later, Pink Floyd wafted through the air.
"K, now which old rocker is this?" Willow teased, as he sat down next to her.
He gave her a raised brow, a move that drove her crazy.
"You're being sassy, aren't you?" he mused, forcing her back on the sofa.
"Hmm, maybe,"she replied, her smile growing as her arms wrapped around him.
"My sassy little Red." His lips grazed her ear. "What am I to do with you?"
She answered him with a kiss.
TWO NIGHTS LATER
"We'll only stay for a little while," Buffy said, ringing the bell.
Angel started to ask if twenty minutes qualified, but before he could, the door opened and Xander appeared.
"Greetings, fellow Monopolytes! Glad ya could make it."
"Wouldn't have missed it," Angel said, forcing a smile.
Buffy giggled as Xander ushered them inside and down the hall. In the dining room, the rest of the Scoobies waited. Well, all but two.
"Where are Will and Giles?" Buffy asked, taking a seat.
"Probably shagging in the bloody shower," Spike offered. Cordelia slapped his arm. "What? I wasn't being rude, pet. Just answerin' the Slayer's question."
She leaned over, brushing her lips onto his.
"We'll discuss that rude line later," she promised, nibbling gently.
"Tactful as ever,"Xander muttered.
"I'd watch it Xander," Angel said. "She might hurt you."
"She can hurt me," Spike purred, his hand moving up Cordy's thigh.
"You used to be romantic like that," Anya sighed. "What happened?"
All eyes turned to Xander, but before he could say a word, the doorbell rang and he ran to answer it.
"We brought snacks!" Willow quipped, as Giles presented him with a large brown bag.
"Snacks are a good thing," he noted, as they made their way to the dining room.
"Running late, are we?" Buffy cooed, flashing the redhead a knowing grin.
Willow felt a pale blush creep over her and slid into an empty chair.
"Ok, I'm ready to play." Everyone looked at Anya. "I want money,"she added.
AN HOUR LATER
"That's another hundred," : Giles pointed out.
Spike shot him a glare. "I've got it right here, Watcher!" he growled, thrusting another bill at his fellow Englishman.
"You aren't trying to cheat, are ya, Spike?" Xander teased.
"Shut up, Chubs!"
Angel turned away from his fellow y chromos and smiled at Buffy.
"He is so romantic," Anya sighed. "He is, isn't he?"
Buffy smiled back, then looked at the ex demon. "He is."
"I knew it. What about Spike? Is he romantic?"
"Bloody hell! I just gave you two hundred bleedin' dollars!"
Cordelia smiled, her brown eyes on the blonde vampire. "He has his moments."
"Xander used to be romantic. Now.." Her voice trailed off for a moment, then she perked up. "He does make up for it in orgasms, though."
Cordy rolled her eyes, Willow smiled weakly and Buffy turned her attention to her best friend.
"What about you, Will?" she said. "Giles strikes me as the romantic type."
Willow saw three pairs of eyes wearing smiles waiting for an answer. The blush was back.
"Come now, Willow," Anya urged. "We're talking romance, not orgasms. No need to get all, blushy."
"Rupert is…perfect."
"Details, Willow!" Cordy demanded.
Willow looked to Buffy for help, but the grin the Slayer wore promised no such thing.
