The Full Moon's light hits the water, spilling along the still surface like a silver road. You know it is an illusion, but none the less, the road calls, pulling you into the quiet lake. You leave your clothes in a heap on the shale shingle and walk slowly, not breaking the waters stillness, until it reaches your breasts. The lake gurgles softly as it caresses you and drinks you into its embrace.

The light glimmers on a huge rock some five hundred feet off-shore. You know this rock, you've seen it in daylight, but the night weaves a veil of mystery about it. So you follow the pull of the Manitou, swimming slowly to the shelf of rock you know awaits you. To the quiet of the night, to the magic dancing slowly in the silver streams--the pulsing beat that draws your heart into time with it.

The lake chuckles at you as you rise naked to the granite shelf. Warm arms enfold you and a body as naked and moon touched as your own receives your sigh. Eyes, alive and mystically glinting silver on the their green gaze down at you. As soft voice with a sibilant accent murmurs "I've been waiting here. I called you . . . "
