Buffy grabbed him by the collar and lowered him down to her face, "If you think this is so easy you do it!"
"Luv."
Buffy let her last comment tease through her mind, a guy having a child, where would it come out? Hell it's like passing a watermelon, imagine a baby coming through…."
"Almost there, one more and the pain will be over." Rupert squeezed her hand encouraging her and she nodded bravely as she focused on the end of this battle.
"Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Giles, It's a boy and a girl!"
The proud parents looked up both in unison, "Boy and a girl?"
"No wonder I was fat!"
"You were not fat," he turned his attention back at the doctor, "Why did you not know of the other baby?"
"It was hard enough to find one beat and not two since all the heartbeats including the mothers was simultaneous, but congratulations anyway!"
He left his wife holding the children to go out into the waiting room.
"Well??"
"Yeah what's the scoop?" Willow was very excited
"It's um," he smiled broadly, "A boy and a girl."
The gang looked surprised "Twins?"
"As in two, more then one. Oh boy. We need to redo the nursery and get a few more things."
"Alright G-man!" Xander slapped Giles' back, "I know don't call you that."
It didn't even phase Giles of what was said, he was just in shock, awe and complete happiness at the miracle that just took place.
"So what are their names?"
Rupert's lips curled into a smile, "Their names….."
