Part 11
Buffy didn't waste anytime finding Giles. She had gone through everything she was going to say over and over in her mind. She stormed into the Magic Shop and demanded that Giles and her have a moment alone in the Training Room.
"Buffy, I really am busy here. Can this wait till we get home?" Giles asked Buffy beyond annoyed by her attitude.
"Excuse me! You call my friend a liar and I am suppose to just wait around till you are ready to talk to me." Buffy accused.
"Buffy, I think your friend might have stretched the truth. I haven't called anyone a liar and if you will please just wait; we can discuss this later." Giles explained with more force in his voice.
Buffy was not having this she was overwhelmed with so many emotions she just burst into tears. This startled Giles. He hadn't ever seen his slayer break down like this. He knew she has been going through much, but really had no idea how she was truly handling it.
He wanted to comfort her, but wasn't sure if she would be real receptive to it. He saw her body shift closer to him as she hung her head in her hands crying. He took this as a sign she needed a hug.
Buffy cried even harder in his embrace, "Why now, I just can't take much more of this! I lose my Mom. My Dad is threatening to take Dawn. I still have no idea how to defeat Glory. I want this to work out between us. Now Willow says this about Anya and you tell me basically it is all made up!"
Giles pulled Buffy closer showering her forehead with kisses, "Buffy..."
Tears still flowing, "I just want peace. Peace in my family, peace in my friends, peace in my life."
"Buffy I am sorry and wish there was more I could do." Giles lifted her face to him.
Buffy smiled and kissed him.
They walked into the Training Room for more privacy.
"Tell me then, what do you think is going on?" Buffy asked wiping her tears away.
"Buffy, that Amulet is not Anya's but Willow's. D'Hoffryn had given her one." Buffy's eyes grew big realizing she never thought of that, "Personally, I think Willow is worried about Xander."
"Why do you think that?" Buffy began wondering if he had something.
"Well, you all saw what Anya did to her last boyfriend. She made him a troll. Now listen here. Willow has had her heart broken and probably still wonders if a relationship can really last. It is clear she is not a big fan of Anya and doesn't think Xander and her will last. She is probably worried we might end up with a troll Xander."
"Ok so say that is true, do you think Willow has said anything to Xander yet?"
"I hope not." Giles said, concerned more trouble could lye ahead.

"Willow! Why are you telling me this?" Xander fumed holding the amulet in his hand.
"You need to know that Anya isn't trustworthy." Willow pleaded, regretting she said any of this.
"Sure at one time I was worried, about her and her old demon ways, but it is not like that. Anya is not like that. I thought Anya was out of her mind when she told me you had this amulet awhile back. Now I owe her an apology." Xander continued.
Willow started to cry, "Xander, please I was only worried about you. I wasn't trying to hurt you."
"Willow, you need to worry about Tara more and spend more time with her, then worrying about me. Don't you think Tara might not appreciate you always fighting with Anya and worrying about me. If I were you I would be letting her know how much you love her and focus more on her." Xander reprimanded his friend, but he did it because he cared.
Willow hung her head in shame, "I am sorry."
"I know you are, but you need to apologize to Anya." Xander tried to smile to lighten the mood.
"Can I have a hug?" Willow asked and Xander hugged her.

That evening...
"So Dawn is sleeping over at a friends?" Giles asked, while sitting at the table waiting for Buffy to join him for dinner.
"Yeah, was kinda worried about her being out of our site, but I think she would be safer from Glory away from home." Buffy smiled at Giles as she sat at the table.
"So we are alone tonight?" Giles asked grinning.
Giggling Buffy brushed her leg against his under the table, "Yes we are."
"What about patrolling?" Giles asked.
"Oh you of many questions, the gang are gonna patrol tonight. It is just you and me all night long through the morning." Buffy laughed cutting her steak.
"Good, I was looking forward to dessert tonight." Giles said brushing his leg against Buffy's.

Giles and Buffy spent the evening cuddled on the sofa watching old movies falling asleep in each others arms. When morning came Giles began to lightly kiss Buffy's cheek. She smiled and woke up.
"I hope you don't mind me waking you up." Giles chided his slayer.
"Actually I do mind you waking me up!" Buffy said with a sly grin, "But I think you can make up for it."
Giles began to kiss and fondle Buffy's breasts. Buffy started to unbutton his shirt and removing his clothes. She smiled when she saw that he was hard and began to strip off her own clothes.
