#2 - Faith Challenge
I've looked & looked, for Giles/Faith stories. They just don't seem to be out there.
So, my challenge to you...
Write a Giles/Faith story
It can be ANY rating.
Set in any season of either show.
As angsty, funny, or smutty as you want.
I say there's potential for any of the above.
(Please, don't have Faith just sleep with Giles to get even with Buffy...AGAIN.)
If it is set before Faith went to prison,
Giles should have something to do with her decision to turn herself in.
If it is set during her stay in jail...conjugal visits should be supplied. ;)
Should Include the following...
An appearance by Ripper (it can be a simple look if you like)
A painful secret shared between G & F...doesn't matter whose secret it is.
"Want, take, have."
A mention of how Buffy takes Giles for granted.
Willow getting upset/jealous of Faith and Giles.
Xander wondering if Giles is better in bed than him.
Faith getting a cookie from Giles.
Would like to include something like...
Faith(to Giles): You were never my watcher.
Giles: Perhaps not. But I would have liked to have been your friend. That's something Buffy & I never really had.
For a dash of humor...
Faith whining "Buffy, Buffy, Buffy!" (as in Marsha,Marsha,Marsha!--Brady Bunch)
Or perhaps commenting on how Buffy got everything...two watchers, the Scoobies, the boyfriends, etc...maybe she should get her own tv show too.
Some food for thought...
Faith: Ya, I see him. If I knew they came that young and cute I would've requested a transfer.
Giles: This um...this new girl seems to have a lot of zest.
The first place (that we know of) that Faith headed when she left the hospital was to Giles' flat. Hmmmm...what's up with that? :)
Faith(to Wes): And what if you had Buffy, and Giles had been my Watcher?

Okay, so she's kinda evil. But she seems to have
changed her ways, and is seeking to right some wrongs.
Giles
Was kinda evil (Ripper). But he changed his ways.
Righted some wrongs. He can speak from experience.
Personally?
I always thought it should have been Giles that spoke with Faith
when she headed down the wrong path rather than Angel.
Do ya reckon Buffy had anything to do with that?
Hmmm. Buffy would share her boyfriend, but not her Watcher. Interesting.
