Hi guys, heres another challenge.
I think its more a series fic, than a 1 parter, but il post the challenge anyway.
Set in season 5, could be set in "Into the Woods"
where Buffy finds out shes pregnant with Rileys baby,
and when she goes to tell him, he tells her about the
military wanting him back, and has already decided to go.
Buffy tells him shes pregnant and he still leaves.
So, now you have a pregnant buffy by herself.
Who to help her during this? Duh! Giles! Of course!
Take them through the trials of her pregnancy, from the
throwing up to the building the crib and things, make it funny!
And make them start to grow closer :-D.
Make the scoobies start noticing a change in their relationship,
and have them discuss how Giles could be there for her like he is,
when it isnt even his baby.
Ok, now, after Buffy gives birth
(and her and Giles STILL arent together at this point!),
have Riley show back up, making Giles think that Buffy is
going to go back to Riley, and Riley offers Buffy the chance
to start anew. But Buffys already found someone else :-D :-D.
How you have Buffy finally tell Giles after all this, is up to you.
But Giles is depressed, (he leaves the magic box when riley shows up),
so make it good J
