#45 - "Scoobie" Doo Challenge

I just recently saw “Scooby Doo II” and noticed that if you squint REALLY hard it almost looks like one of the more poorly written eps of Buffy!
So I spent the entire movie daydreaming that the Buffy cast was actually in it (which gee, since like half of the Buffy cast ACTUALLY was, it
wasn’t that hard!)…hey, I gotta get my jollies somewhere now that Buffy is over.
So here’s the challenge I want to issue: The Scoobie gang meets the Scooby gang…
Preferably this would take place sometime after the movie for Mystery Inc. and sometime after Oz leaves in season 4 of Buffy (beyond that
you can use any season…) Why they are meeting up and working together is up to you…some new scary demon perhaps? A mystery to
solve? All of Mystery Inc. must be present and of the BtVS group you must have Giles, Buffy, and Willow…who else you bring along is up to
you. Any rating, any pairings, slash allowed. Let the imagination run free!
Must haves:
1) Oz and Patrick (the museum curator) actually ARE the same person…(you can figure out the details, but I’m thinking something like Oz moved to Coolsville after being rejected by Willow and changed his name because his past was just too painful or something like that.)
2) Buffy and Daphne are NOT the same...but do notice they look a lot alike.
3) Giles ends up with SOMEONE before the fic is over. (Can be Scoobie character, Scooby character, or original)
Bonus points for:
1) Buffy insulting Daphne on her fashion sense in regards to that purple jumpsuit with the rainbow that runs under the armpit on one side.
2) Daphne somehow staking a vampire.
3) Giles and Velma caught flirting while talking about some ancient text or artifact, which makes both Buffy and Oz/Patrick jealous.
4) Velma notices the similarities between herself and Willow, and she can’t help but think that Oz/Patrick might be dating her as a replacement for Willow.
5) Velma learning in some surprising way that Oz/Patrick is a werewolf
(even if he can now control it.)
6) Fred mistaking Buffy for Daphne and trying to make out with her.
7) The SOMEONE Giles ends up with is Buffy.
8) Vampire Scrappy Doo or Scooby Doo.
9) Xander eating tons of Scooby snacks.
10) Xander playing some sort of doggy game with Scooby
(fetch, scratching bellies, etc.) causing Shaggy to get jealous.
11) Dawn (if she happens to be around in your fic) befriending one of the monsters.
12) Anya (if she’s around) offering to do something inappropriate with Fred.
13) Shaggy hitting on Tara (if she’s around).
14) Someone commenting on the “Scoobie gang” and the “Scooby gang” as an odd similarity.
15) A ship between a Scoobie and one of the Mystery Inc. gang...if you have to break up a canon ship or bring someone in from AtS, so be it!
16) On the off chance you want Riley around...Riley/Fred machismo show-down.
I REALLY hope someone takes this challenge, because I just can’t wait to read it!
I know that there's really no way you can answer all the bonuses and still get plot in there w/o really limiting yourself, so feel free to just pick and choose a few of them. It's like a little challenge
