#61 - Tag You’re IT! Challenge

Submitted by katekat

A long time ago, I had an image in my head for a B/G fic. I wrote
down a couple of paragraphs, and figured the rest would come in time.
Six months later, I look at the words and *still* have nothing, but
I’d dearly love to see this story told.

So, beloved and talented writers, here’s my challenge to you:

Write a story with the block of text below. Give it a conflict.
Give it a resolution. Write what you see when you read it.
Take the text, and do something with it. You don’t even have to use
the exact words if you find the way it’s written ponderous. It’s
the proverbial game of tag – and I just tagged you to be IT.

Requirements:
Use the text. So I guess it can’t be a drabble, since it’s already over the limit.

Bonus points:
I’m a confessed smut-a-holic, so if you wanted me to be particularly
indebted to you, make it NC-17.

The text:
Giles bowed his head before her, exposing the clean line of his neck, waiting for her to make the decision. He couldn’t believe what he’d just revealed. Either way, he felt serene. He had put himself forth for the final time.

Buffy looked at the long line of the Watcher kneeling before her. The ruddy color of his skin contrasted with the dark of his clothes. She could see the blood pulse in his neck and knew, now, that it was in some way pulsing for her. She couldn’t resist his offering, even if she’d wanted to.

Which she didn’t. Everything in her cried out for the man bowed before her. She realized suddenly that without touching her he’d made her wet with his words.

She leaned forward and, instead of using the sword in her hands, put her lips against that pulse.

He remained motionless in shock, terror, lust.
